Unit Hours of Operation:

Monday - Friday: 3 pm - 6:30 pm
Early Out: 1 pm - 6:30 pm
Non School Days: 7:30 am - 5:30 pm
Summer: 7:30 am* - 5:30 pm

Volunteer

VOLUNTEERS/MENTORS

Volunteers & Mentors are the life line to our child care programs and Kids Activities. Without caring adult volunteers thousands of kids each year may go without a positive role model. Volunteers can assist in all areas of our youth development programs; there are opportunities for everyone’s taste. Our Boys And Girls Clubs of Central Texas are in need of homework helpers, tutors, and sports enthusiasts.

We, Boys And Girls Clubs of Central Texas, are always looking for individuals or groups with special skills related to fine arts, crafts, dance, music, computer technology and many more child care and kids Activities. If you have a special skill or interest that matches our listed needs, we would like to hear from you!

COMMITMENT

At all of our Clubs in Texas, we need volunteers who are able to commit to one to two hours per week, for at least three months. Some short-term projects and single-event opportunities arise occasionally.

If you can’t make a regular commitment, you may still want to consider engaging through Corporate & Group Volunteering

OPPORTUNITIES

Opportunities are available at all of our Clubs in Central Texas. The times of greatest need are between 3:00pm and 6:00pm. Please click on this link to view our current Volunteer Opportunities.

HOW TO BECOME INVOLVED?

If you are at least 18 years old and interested in volunteering to form a positive relationship and influence tomorrow’s youth, the process has never been easier. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: SELECT a Volunteer Opportunity that matches your interest(s) and your ability.
Step 2: COMPLETE our Volunteer Application and return it DIRECTLY TO THE CLUB you are interested in working at our Kids Clubs in Texas. All potential volunteers must consent for a criminal history and background check that will include: Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI), Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI), National CORI and local police record information.
Step 3: You will be invited to SCHEDULE a Volunteer Orientation.
