  • Among teen aged Club members, 97% expect to graduate from high school, 87% expect to complete some kind of post-secondary education, and 70% expect to complete a four-year college or higher.
  • A comparison of data from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Youth Outcome Initiative Survey and the National Survey on Drug Use and Health shows that 73% of low-income Club members ages 12-17 report earning mostly A's and B's in school, whereas 69% of their peers nationally report doing so.
  • A comparison of data from the Boys & Girls Clubs of America's National Youth Outcomes Initiatives Survey and the Alliance for Science & Technology Research  in America suggests that more than twice as many 12th grade Club members (56%) express an interest in a STEM career as twelfth graders nationally (25%). The percentage of Club girls who are interested in a STEM career (51%) is more than three times greater than that of their peers nationally (14%).
