Nolanville Programming Moves To Harker Heights

Dear Parents and Residents of Nolanville,

For the past seven years, the City of Nolanville and Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas (BGCTX) have enjoyed a strong and impactful partnership dedicated to serving the youth and families of our community. Together, we have created a welcoming space where children could learn, grow, and thrive. Today, we are writing to inform you of an upcoming transition in how these services will be delivered.

With the recent opening of the Subhani Family Clubhouse less than three miles away in Harker Heights, Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Texas will be transitioning all programming from the Nolanville Unit to the new Harker Heights location. This change will allow BGCTX to expand its services and provide even more robust programming in a larger and more accommodating space.

Our last day of programming at the Nolanville Unit will be Friday, August 1st. Beginning Monday, August 11th, the Subhani Family Clubhouse, located at 200 Nola Ruth Blvd., Harker Heights, will re-open following summer break with hours from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Regular afterschool hours (3:00pm to 6:30pm) will resume Wednesday, August 13th, in alignment with the start of the Killeen ISD school year.

We want to reassure our families that transportation will continue to be provided from both Cavazos Elementary and Nolanville Elementary to the new Club location, ensuring a smooth transition for our youth. This transition comes with deep gratitude from BGCTX for the City of Nolanville's support over the years, including the generous donation of space to operate our programs at no cost. While the physical location will change, our commitment to Nolanville's youth remains unwavering. We look forward to continuing our partnership with the City through events, activities, and open lines of communication.
